Henigan sails to first career USMTS win at Ark-La-Tex Speedway!

 

 

Chris Henigan started in the 7th position with a whole lot of serious iron in front of him. Henigan showed he was up for the task as he began to pick off cars lap by lap and would find himself in striking distance of Rodney Sanders after a caution. Henigan would slip past Shryock on lap 26 and on lap 27 would take the lead from Sanders at the flag stand to check out and lap up to 13th, crossing the line 4.238 seconds ahead of Sanders for the win. The 50 lap event was worth $2,000 for the Chris Henigan/Corey Bird team out of TX.

 

Fellow Sput's customers : Zack Vanderbeek would finish in the 6th position while Krohn charged from 20th to 10th in his 7k machine.
