Humboldt Speedway 3/31/16
THE $10,000 KING
Lots of excitement is in the air when the race season starts and the first BIG race for USRA Mod drivers around the country is the King of America in Humboldt, KS. There has been several big names who have won this prestige event from Shryock, Hughes and Sanders. This year Rodney Sanders was looking to be the first driver to double up at this event but fellow USMTS standout Zack Vanderbeek was not going to give up without a fight. With laps clicking off near the end the 33Z of Vanderbeek would make a hard move and make the pass to hold off the charges of Sanders and Johnny Scott at the end. This win would be one of the largest for the 33Z Team and their efforts were worth $10,000!!!
Congrats to the 33Z Team!!!
